'Counselling was something I had never considered, but it came to a stage in my life that I needed to do something and so I was referred to Mason.  It was not easy, opening up and talking about things which I hadn't been able to in the past. Mason was easy to be with, probing gently, giving me space and time, and so allowing me to consider things at my own pace. The issues raised were not always easy to deal with, but in the long term made me understand some of my inclinations and default settings. This is not a point I would have reached without Mason's guidance and help.  As a first experience of counselling, I believe I was very fortunate to have Mason and would definitely recommend him as a thoughtful and caring counsellor.' - Hazel, 36, Cardiff

I would like to say a massive thankyou to Mason for all his patience with me for with out this I could not have survived. I had been suffering with  depression  for sometime , through my young adult life and later on, sometimes I coped really well and other times not. Mason helped me catagorize my stresses and anxiety,  and helped me to look at things in a different light, and from a different perspective . I had had several deaths in a short period  of  time, this had compounded my stress and anxiety to the point of no return. Mason allowed me to speak my mind with no fear of reprisal or stigma. Thank you so much for helping me get my life back on track. - Beth, 59, Dinas Powys

Mason has had such an impact on our marriage. He gave us the space to see how our relationship was stuck in certain patterns and helped us to figure out new ways to speak to each other without arguing. Some of the sessions were difficult, but what we gained from counselling saved our relationship. We can't recommend him enough. - Mark and Catherine, 43, Penarth

I saw Mason for nearly a year. He helped me through one of the most difficult times in my life. He was patient and kind and helped me to see another way.  - David, 28,  Barry
